Now, you can bring that same Disney magic into your kitchen with an easy, family-friendly recipe that captures the essence of this must-try treat.

What Is Pongu Lumpia?

Pongu Lumpia is a sweet pineapple take on the traditional Filipino spring roll. “Lumpia” are spring rolls of Chinese origin, commonly found as street food in Indonesia and the Philippines.

They’re traditionally a savory snack, but the Disney culinary team created a sweet version for the new ‘Avatar’ land in Animal Kingdom. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, it’s served at Pongu Pongu in the heart of Pandora.

Unlike savory versions, this lumpia features a luscious filling made of crushed pineapple and cream cheese, wrapped in a spring roll wrapper and deep-fried until crispy.

It’s a tropical twist on comfort food—warm, slightly tangy, and creamy with just the right amount of crunch. A single bite is enough to transport you back to the magical floating mountains of Pandora.
