VIDEO: Grown Men Push Over Families Waiting To Buy Disneyland Souvenirs
Disturbing footage from Disneyland Paris Resort captures the moment a group of men destroyed crowd-control barriers and shoved their way through hundreds of waiting guests… all for a limited-edition trading card set.
The Video That Shocked Disney Fans
On July 18, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @JosemaVallejo posted a video of the scene at Disney Village — the shopping and dining district at Disneyland Paris Resort — where a release of the Disney Lorcana “Attack of the Vine!” trading card set had drawn enormous crowds.
The footage shows a group of men sprinting toward the merchandise location, vaulting over and knocking down barricades, and physically forcing their way past the hundreds of guests who had been waiting patiently in line — including families — while Disney cast members attempted to maintain order.

Many Disney Parks fans pointed to the men as resellers rather than genuine Lorcana collectors, though the footage alone can’t confirm that characterization. Whether Disneyland Paris Resort identified or penalized any of the individuals involved has also not been confirmed. The European Disney Resort has not issued any statement about the incident.
Part of a Wider Weekend of Chaos
The Disneyland Paris footage was just the beginning of what turned out to be a turbulent weekend for the Disney Lorcana “Attack of the Vine!” release across multiple locations. In London, the Disney Store on Oxford Street canceled its release event entirely after violent scenes broke out shortly after 6:00 a.m. Massive lines also stretched through Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort and the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort during the same release period.
At Disneyland Paris Resort, at least, the release went ahead as scheduled despite what the video showed. The limited-edition merchandise was sold, even as footage of how some people reached the front of the line circulated widely online.
