Disneyland Tries and Fails To Fix Fantasyland Location Twice, Third Attempt Commences
Whatever is going on with Edelweiss Snacks at Disneyland Park, two rounds of construction apparently weren’t enough to sort it out. The Fantasyland Quick-Service kiosk is back behind walls for the third time in less than a year, and Disneyland Resort still hasn’t offered a word of explanation.
A Pattern of Refurbishments With No Answers

The cycle started last summer, when scaffolding and scrim fabric appeared on the exterior of the Quick-Service dining structure. Work finished relatively quickly, the kiosk stayed open throughout, and the results were modest at best. It seemed like a bit of cosmetic upkeep and nothing more.
Then came February 2026, when Disneyland Resort announced a formal closure for refurbishment. This time, a shutdown suggested that something more involved might be happening inside the building. Edelweiss Snacks came back online on March 5, looking nearly identical to before: aside from some touched-up paint, Disney Park guests encountered the same menu and the same kiosk.

Weeks later, construction walls are up in Fantasyland for a third time. Here’s everything we know about the latest project.
Round Three Underway

WDWNT reported on Tuesday that Edelweiss Snacks is once again wrapped in beige scrim and surrounded by scaffolding. Unlike the February closure, the location does not appear to be shutting down this time around; guests can still order turkey legs, bratwurst, frozen drinks, and fountain beverages through a window as work continues around them.
Whether that remains the case depends on what crews uncover during the upcoming project. Disneyland Resort has yet to comment on the latest construction push or explain why the building continues to need attention.
