Cast Members Left Scrubbing Blood Off Floor After “Older Man” Attacked at Disney Park

A violent incident reportedly took place at Disneyland on Tuesday that left cast members scrubbing blood off the floor.

Violence may be rare within Disney parks, but it can – and does – happen. This holiday season, we’ve seen a physical fight break out in the line for Radiator Springs Racers at Disney California Adventure Park, police summoned to the scene of a verbal altercation at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort, and a report of battery at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

One of the most alarming incidents guests say they have heard about recently occurred at Disneyland on December 30.

According to accounts shared online, the violence unfolded in a crowded attraction queue during the middle of the day, in full view of other families.

Violent Altercation Reportedly Unfolds in Indiana Jones Queue

A guest described being in line for Indiana Jones Adventure around 12:45 p.m. when a man wearing light green sweatpants allegedly began beating an older man “senselessly for about a minute” while still in the queue.

“The older man did not fight back but cowered down while his 20-something year old daughter screamed and cried ‘stop hitting my dad’,” the witness wrote on Reddit. “It was incredibly traumatizing and the dude who assaulted the man ran off.”

According to the account, the victim was left “covered in blood on his face,” prompting Disney staff to close the attraction line. Cast members were reportedly seen scrubbing blood off the floor in multiple spots as shocked guests looked on.

“I thought the guy was going to die,” the witness added. “I hope he is ok and the other man was punished. Watching the horrific violence definitely ruined the day.”

The incident sparked intense debate on Reddit, where some users questioned why other guests did not physically intervene. Others pushed back, arguing that stepping in could expose bystanders to serious personal and legal consequences.

“Unfortunately, trying to intervene in today’s society opens you up to a whole host of liability issues, not to mention the risk of injury to myself in the first place,” one commenter wrote.

Another added, “We live in a time where if you DO step in, there is a good chance YOU will be arrested, possibly sued. Apparently we are no longer allowed to defend ourselves or others from violent louts.”

The Second Dramatic ‘Indiana Jones’ Incident in a Week

The Disneyland incident also came amid a separate string of bizarre, Indiana Jones–adjacent moments at Disney parks this week.

Yesterday, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a stunt went awry during Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
and saw a large rubber boulder prop roll off its track and towards the show’s packed audience.

While one heroic cast member managed to stop the boulder from hitting the crowd, they were knocked to the ground and reportedly injured.

Disney has since shared a statement on the incident and removed the boulder from Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

“We’re focused on supporting our cast member, who is recovering,” Disney said. “Safety is at the heart of what we do, and that element of the show will be modified as our safety team completes a review of what happened.”
