Don’t Miss Out: Disneyland’s Iconic Parade Now Comes With a Must-Try Dining Package!

As you know, Disneyland isn’t just about rides and attractions — it’s a full-on celebration of Walt Disney’s dream, a tradition that has grown more spectacular with each milestone anniversary. The 70th Anniversary is set to be one of the most over-the-top celebrations ever, especially after the challenges of missing the 65th Anniversary festivities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, as we step into this milestone year, guests can expect new shows, dazzling decorations, and character appearances that highlight decades of Disney magic.

Disneyland Resort’s 70th Anniversary is about to bring even more magic to the park — and one of the most exciting additions is a new dining package that pairs a delicious meal with a reserved viewing of the iconic Paint the Night Parade.

With Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary kicking off on May 16 and running through the summer of 2026, this limited-time offer is the perfect way for guests to soak up every enchanting moment of the celebration.

One of the highlights of the celebration is the return of the Paint the Night Parade, a fan-favorite event that originally premiered during Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration.

This parade, which dazzled thousands of guests with its elaborate floats and vibrant lights, had been a hit from the start. Though it was temporarily removed in 2016 and then relocated to Disney California Adventure Park, its permanent removal in early 2017 left many fans longing for its return.

Fortunately, the parade is making a triumphant comeback as part of the 70th Anniversary festivities, and it’s being paired with an exclusive dining package designed to enhance your viewing experience.

Beginning May 16, Disneyland guests can secure a reserved spot to watch the first showing of the Paint the Night Parade by purchasing the special dining package at the historic Plaza Inn.

Here’s how it works: guests dine at the Plaza Inn daily between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., and after enjoying a delicious meal, they receive a voucher that guarantees a reserved viewing area for the parade later that evening. This exclusive offer means you won’t have to worry about fighting the crowds or missing out on the best parade spots!

For those curious about what you’ll be dining on, the dining package comes with a preset menu for both adults and children.

It’s also important to note that plant-based options will be available for guests who prefer meat-free dishes. Plus, since the Plaza Inn functions as a quick-service restaurant during these dining hours, no tipping is required. The package is attractively priced at $55 per adult and $28 per child, making it a great value for families looking to add a special touch to their Disneyland experience.

Beyond the dining package, the 70th Anniversary celebrations promise a smorgasbord of magical experiences. Alongside the returning Paint the Night Parade, guests will be treated to new and returning shows, mesmerizing decorations, and characters donning special anniversary outfits.

Not to be outdone, Disneyland is also bringing back the Wondrous Journeys fireworks — a spectacle that first lit up the sky during The Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary celebration — casting a dazzling glow over Sleeping Beauty Castle.

At Disney California Adventure, the magic continues with the return of “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” which made its debut as part of Pixar Fest last summer. Additionally, a brand-new World of Color show called World of Color Happiness! will debut, hosted by Joy from the Inside Out franchise.

While the festivities will run through the summer of 2026, the exclusive Paint the Night dining package is available only from May 16 through August 21, 2025. This limited availability is perfectly timed with Disneyland’s ramp-up for the Halloween season, and if the package turns out to be a huge hit, there might even be a chance for it to return after the holiday celebrations.

So, whether you’re a die-hard Disneyland fan or planning your first magical visit, this dining package is a must-have experience. Imagine savoring a delicious meal at the Plaza Inn, secured in your own reserved spot to watch the breathtaking Paint the Night Parade—this is the kind of immersive experience that only Disneyland can deliver.
