Walt Disney World recently expanded its Minnie Van service, which now offers exciting new transportation options for guests. This enhancement particularly aids travelers looking for convenient ways to navigate the resort, with the inclusion of airport transfers being a significant addition.

Guests staying at Deluxe Resort hotels can now enjoy direct transport to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO), a service that was previously reserved exclusively for Club-level guests.

The Minnie Van service, a partnership between Disney and Lyft, has also made its presence felt throughout the Disney Resorts Collection, Shades of Green, and even extends to the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve resorts. This development opens up transport options for more guests, although it comes with a price tag that can raise eyebrows.

As with any luxury service, the financial aspect of the Minnie Van service cannot be overlooked. The cost for round-trip airport transport currently sits at $400, with each one-way trip priced at $199. This hike in price means that families or groups looking to utilize this service must account for these costs when budgeting their trips.

The Minnie Van experience goes beyond just providing transportation; it aims to deliver a charming and themed travel option. The vehicles, distinctly designed to reflect Minnie Mouse, are difficult to miss due to their polka-dotted patterns. Designed to accommodate up to six guests, these vans come equipped with several amenities, including car seats, making them suitable for families traveling with young children.

Booking a Minnie Van is made simple through the Lyft app. Guests staying at any of the Deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotels can easily secure their transportation with just a few taps on their smartphones. This seamless booking process encourages guests to take advantage of the newly expanded service, even if it comes at a premium price.

Alternative Transport Options at Disney

Walt Disney World offers a variety of existing transportation services to accommodate guests’ needs. The extensive bus system is one of the most utilized methods, providing transport to and from all four theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, and a wide array of hotels.

Another popular option is the Disney Skyliner, which offers a unique aerial view of the resort as it connects various destinations, including EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
