Disney World’s 2025 Holiday Season Descends Into Chaos

If there’s one thing Disney knows how to do, it’s throw a holiday party. From fake snow drifting down Main Street to jaw-dropping nighttime shows, the holidays at Disney World are pure magic. But in 2025, that magic might come with a side of madness.

It’s no secret that these festive events are crowd magnets. Whether you’re catching Kermit and Miss Piggy belting out carols or standing shoulder to shoulder in a sea of Christmas sweaters, the holidays draw in Disney fans like peppermint draws ants. And now that Disney has officially opened ticket sales to the general public, things are about to get even more intense.

Tickets? Open. Crowds? Incoming.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one of Disney’s most beloved traditions, and for good reason. You’ve got fireworks, cookies, cocoa, ride overlays, and that picture-perfect parade. This year, it’s running from November 7 to December 21—and ticket prices range from $169 to $229, depending on the date.

But here’s the kicker: Disney just unlocked full crowd capacity for the event. That means no more limited attendance or spaced-out experiences. It’s full throttle from here on out. And if past years are any indication, certain nights will sell out fast, especially the ones right around Thanksgiving and mid-December.

Jollywood Nights Turns Up the Volume

Over at Hollywood Studios, Jollywood Nights is returning for its sophomore season—and it’s aiming to outshine its Magic Kingdom counterpart. Running from November 8 to December 22, this after-hours bash brings the glitz and glam of old Hollywood to the holidays.

This year, Miguel from Coco joins the lineup, plus returning favorites like the “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” fireworks and Miss Piggy’s variety show. With lounges, themed snacks, and rare character encounters, Jollywood is shaping up to be one of Disney’s most talked-about offerings.

Brace Yourself for the Holiday Rush

Between these two mega events and Disney’s push for maximum attendance, guests should expect packed walkways, long snack lines, and ride queues that’ll test your patience. It’s the price you pay for a taste of Disney’s holiday cheer—but if you’re going, you’d better act fast.

One thing’s certain: the holidays at Disney are no longer the cozy, semi-private affairs they were a couple of years ago. This year? It’s going to be a full-on festive frenzy.
