Disney World Hotels Raise Fees by Nearly 30%, Guests Pay the Price

Valet parking rates at Walt Disney World Resort just saw a significant hike, now costing $42 per night as of October 23, 2024. This increase marks the second rise in valet pricing within the year, following an earlier adjustment from $33 to $39 in February.

For guests planning their Disney Resort hotel stay, these rising costs may require a reassessment of overall expenditures. Budget-conscious travelers will need to factor in these higher valet fees, which reflect a broader trend of price increases across the resort. The question arises as to whether families still find the necessity or convenience of valet parking to justify this financial adjustment.

Despite the increased valet parking fees at Walt Disney World Resort, guests can still enjoy complimentary self-parking at Disney Resort hotels if staying overnight. This option significantly saves guests on parking costs, regardless of whether they’re staying at a Value Resort hotel or a Disney Vacation Club villa.

Day guests also have complimentary parking available, depending on availability.

Guests can avoid parking fees altogether by utilizing Disney’s extensive transportation alternatives. These include buses, the Disney Skyliner, the Monorail, and watercraft services connecting guests with various Central Florida Disney Resort areas. Such options provide a cost-effective travel solution within the expansive Walt Disney World Resort.
