Disney World Officially Opens Highly-Anticipated New Location Overnight
A visit to Walt Disney World comes with the expectation that something new could be waiting around the corner. This week, that proved true again as Disney quietly opened a brand-new location with little advance notice. While major attraction debuts usually grab the headlines, this latest addition gives guests another place to explore during their vacation and continues a stretch of steady updates across the resort.
The opening also serves as another reminder that Disney’s recent changes haven’t been limited to the theme parks. From new attractions to fresh entertainment and expanding shopping options, plenty is happening across Walt Disney World.
New Additions Keep Arriving Across Walt Disney World
Disney has spent the past several months introducing new experiences throughout its parks. Some of the biggest additions have arrived in the form of attractions and entertainment that have already started drawing guests.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios welcomed Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, giving the longtime coaster a completely new identity while keeping its signature thrills. The reimagined attraction has quickly become one of the resort’s biggest talking points.
Over at EPCOT, guests can now experience Soarin’ Across America, which takes riders on a flight over some of the country’s best-known landmarks.
Families visiting Walt Disney World have also gained more options geared toward younger guests. Disney’s Animal Kingdom introduced Bluey’s Wild World, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios debuted Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, adding another interactive show featuring popular Disney Junior characters.
While those experiences have generated plenty of excitement within the parks, Disney has also continued to expand beyond the attractions themselves.

Disney Springs Keeps Growing
Disney Springs has become much more than a shopping destination. For many visitors, it has turned into an essential stop for dining, entertainment, and retail, whether they’re taking a break from the parks or spending an evening outside them.
Disney continues to refresh the district by bringing in new businesses and experiences that encourage guests to return throughout their vacation.
One of the newest additions has been Level99, an interactive entertainment venue that offers a different kind of experience from the traditional attractions found inside the parks.
Now another recognizable brand has officially joined the lineup, giving shoppers one more reason to spend time exploring Disney Springs.

A New Experience Opens Its Doors
On July 2, Vans officially opened its new store in the Town Center section of Disney Springs.
The new location offers footwear, apparel, and accessories while giving guests access to a broad selection of the brand’s most recognizable products. Inside, shoppers will find shelves lined with classic shoe styles, including the Old Skool, Authentic, Slip-On, and New Skool collections for both men and women.
The store also carries an extensive selection of clothing. Guests can browse T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, shorts, and overalls, while families shopping with children will find a dedicated section featuring youth-sized shoes and apparel.
Guests looking for the new store will find it near The Polite Pig and World of Disney. Those arriving by car can park in the Lime Garage, which offers the closest access to the location.
The opening fills another retail space at Disney Springs as Disney continues adding new brands throughout the shopping district.

More Changes Are Still Ahead
Disney Springs isn’t finished growing.
Later this summer, Disney plans to welcome Six Ravens, a new dining location that will add another restaurant to the district. Disney has not announced an opening date, but the restaurant is on the way.
Guests can already enjoy another recent addition, the Kakigori Kool cart, which serves Japanese-style shaved ice that’s especially appealing during Central Florida’s summer heat.
These additions reflect Disney’s ongoing effort to keep Disney Springs evolving alongside the rest of Walt Disney World.

There’s More To Explore Than Ever
Although new rides often receive the most attention, smaller additions can also enhance a Walt Disney World vacation. Every new store, restaurant, or entertainment venue gives guests another option to enjoy outside the parks.
With Vans now open, Level99 welcoming visitors, Six Ravens still on the horizon, and the Kakigori Kool cart already serving guests, Disney Springs continues building an even broader lineup of experiences.
For anyone planning a Walt Disney World trip this summer, it’s worth setting aside time to explore beyond the theme parks. Disney continues finding new ways to give guests something different to discover across the resort.
