Disney World Has Changed Its Main Street, U.S.A. Attraction, Adds ‘Princess and the Frog’
Walt Disney World is marking Black History Month with a wide range of offerings across its parks, and Magic Kingdom is adding even more Princess and the Frog representation as part of the celebration.

This year’s Celebrate Soulfully events at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort highlight Black heritage and creativity through music, art, cuisine, and live entertainment. From special performances to limited-time menu items, guests on both coasts can find meaningful ways to take part in the month-long tribute.
At Walt Disney World Resort, the festivities began with Toya Johnson-Rushing leading the charge as honorary Grand Marshal during a special parade at Magic Kingdom. The procession welcomed February with upbeat music and appearances from beloved Disney characters, setting the tone for the weeks ahead.
Over at EPCOT, the International Festival of the Arts continues to spotlight Black excellence in the arts. The festival features works from several prominent Black visual artists, alongside Disney On Broadway performances that showcase standout Black performers bringing iconic songs to life on stage.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also getting in on the celebration. Viva Gaia fills the park with Caribbean-inspired music and dance, while the Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe deliver high-energy rhythms throughout the day. Meanwhile, Disney Springs is offering limited-time food items, including a soulful New York cheesecake pop and a Wakandan mousse. Guests can also explore vibrant artwork created by Black artists displayed throughout the district.
Together, the experiences across property offer families an opportunity to connect with storytelling and cultural traditions in a way that feels both festive and reflective.
As part of the seasonal celebration, Magic Kingdom has introduced a familiar royal couple to its daily cavalcade.

The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, which travels from Frontierland down Main Street, U.S.A. each morning, has added Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen to its lineup for February. The cavalcade, which features nearly 30 Disney and Pixar characters, including Pocahontas, Mulan, and Bruno Madrigal, performs twice daily and offers guests multiple chances to see their favorite characters in a condensed parade-style format.
Tiana and Naveen are expected to remain part of the cavalcade through the end of the month as part of the Celebrate Soulfully festivities. While the overall structure of the procession remains the same, their addition gives fans of The Princess and the Frog another opportunity to see the characters in a lively setting.
For guests who miss the February appearance, Magic Kingdom is already home to a permanent attraction inspired by the film. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened in 2024, replacing Splash Mountain after several years of transformation and public discussion surrounding the change.

The attraction has drawn mixed reactions since debuting, with some guests praising the updated storyline and others pointing to technical issues with animatronics. Despite those concerns, many visitors continue to line up for the reimagined log flume experience. A version of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is also operating at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Resort.
With Tiana and Naveen now part of the cavalcade lineup, Magic Kingdom continues expanding its Princess and the Frog footprint.
