Disney World Guests in Incident Over Kids on Shoulders at Magic Kingdom

The Walt Disney World Resort is a welcoming place for all—all the Disney theme parks are—but that doesn’t mean every single second is magical. In fact, a Disney vacation can be one of the most stressful and happiest times of your life. A recent social media video showed an altercation between guests at Magic Kingdom over their children.

Getting ready for parades, spectaculars, and shows is an exciting moment for guests at Disney theme parks. But with the excitement comes a level of stress that guests won’t be able to see properly because of structures, or that others will block their view. Holding space for friends and family is also deemed inappropriate, leading to heated discussions between guests.

A new TikTok video shared by Press Play Clips (@pressplayclipss_)  proves once again that entertainment at the Disney parks, especially Magic Kingdom theme park, can cause incidents to occur.

The video shows social media stars FunnyMike and Jaliyah engaging in an altercation with other guests at the park. In the TikTok footage, FunnyMike can be seen placing one of the couple’s children on his shoulders, presumably for the nighttime show Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom–it can be seen on Jaliyah’s Instagram Stories that the family did attend Happily Ever After.

Immediately after, a guest behind the group can be heard saying unintelligible words before adding, “you’re putting your kids right in front of my kids.” Other sentiments are exchanged between the groups, with someone saying, “Why are you talking about my kids?” and Jaliyah adding, “Well, you better find a better spot.”

A male voice begins to reply, before she interrupts, saying, “Oh, you better shut up; talking about these kids over here, you better shut the f*** up.” She then reiterates her earlier comment and tells the other guests to “get a better spot.”

Later in the video, in what looks like a live stream, Jaliyah says “she does not play about [her] kids,” and that the woman “lost her motherf****** mind speaking on [her] kids.” The video has already attracted close to 300,000 views after being posted just hours ago (at the time of publication).

Altercations, incidents, and fights are not unusual at Disney theme parks, with many being reported over the years. While a physical fight didn’t happen here, it’s not as infrequent as you may expect. For example, late last year, guests were seen engaging in a fist fight outside of the Avatar Flight of Passage attraction at Animal Kingdom.

And it’s not just the U.S. theme parks that see incidents occur. Last year, at Disneyland Paris’ Walt Disney Studios Park, a line-cutting incident evolved into a full-blown group fight, leading to cast members getting involved.
