Disney World Confirms Return of THREE Fall and Winter Celebrations
Disney fans already have their sights set on the seasons ahead, and Walt Disney World Resort has offered an early look at what guests can count on when fall and winter roll into 2026. Even as 2025 continues, the resort has outlined the return of several major events that shape the year for many visitors.

One of Magic Kingdom’s longest-running traditions, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, once again anchors the winter lineup. This after-hours celebration is known for pairing familiar entertainment with a sense of holiday comfort. The Once Upon a Christmastime Parade still serves as the emotional highlight, filling Main Street, U.S.A. with toy soldiers, beloved Disney characters, Santa, and snowfall. Nearby, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration adds music and staging that keep families gathering near Cinderella Castle year after year.
Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa appear throughout the park, while attractions like Jingle Cruise continue to draw interest with their seasonal scenes. Exclusive merchandise, character greetings, and reduced waits tie the night together. As Disney shared in its 2026 update, “Cocoa, cookies, and Santa – oh my! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom is tied with a bow and returning on select nights in 2026… packed with seasonal entertainment, delicious food, and cozy merchandise.”

Before Christmas arrives, fall brings its own hallmark. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party reshapes Magic Kingdom with festive shadows, gentle frights, and a playful Halloween spirit. The Boo-to-You Parade maintains its status as a fan favorite, especially with the Headless Horseman’s dramatic ride. The parade continues to spotlight Disney Villains, pirates, and familiar characters dressed for the season.
The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, featuring the Sanderson Sisters, once again energizes the Castle stage with a show aimed at fans of the film. Around the park, trick-or-treat stops, short wait times, and treat options build out the evening. Select attractions, such as Space Mountain and Mad Tea Party, receive special lighting touches. As Disney Parks Blog phrased it, “Let the gourd times roll… Get ready to boo-gie with fan-favorite eerie entertainment, enjoy spellbinding sips and bites, and well-loved mysterious character greetings.”

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Jollywood Nights continues shaping its own identity with a blend of retro holiday styling and entertainment inspired by old-Hollywood specials. The event leans toward music, themed lounges, and seasonal dining items, including a cocktail program that quickly became a highlight.
Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard shine beneath event lighting and snowfall, creating an atmosphere well suited to the park’s theme. “Get ready to celebrate the season in style… with themed entertainment, festive food and beverage offerings, character greetings galore, and all things glitz and glamour at Disney Jollywood Nights,” Disney confirmed.
While guests welcome the news, these offerings may arrive with expected price increases as Disney continues emphasizing higher guest spending amid lower attendance.
