Intoxicated Man Removes Clothing, Tries To Break Open Hotel Room Door at Disney World
What should have been a quiet evening at one of Walt Disney World Resort’s most popular family hotels turned into a disturbing scene this weekend, and other guests caught the whole thing on video.
The Scene at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Footage posted to TikTok this weekend shows a half-naked man wielding a large suitcase as a battering ram against a hotel room door in the Little Mermaid (1989) section of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. The Value Resort, connected to Disney’s Pop Century Resort and the Disney Skyliner gondola system, was the backdrop for a violent incident that quickly spread across social media.
TikTok user @wdwactivecrime shared one clip of the confrontation:

@disneybaebie also posted footage — this version with audio, capturing the man screaming and pounding against the locked door as other Disney Resort hotel guests looked on from outside. “This is what I see [walking] back to my room,” the TikToker wrote.

The person filming speculated that the man had been locked out by his own family after becoming severely intoxicated, though that account hasn’t been officially verified. However, both Walt Disney World Resort security and local law enforcement responded to the scene, along with a hotel manager.

“Luckily security and the police came shortly after the chaos and Disney manager came to assist too,” @disneybaebie explained in the caption of her video.
It remains unclear whether the man or the room’s occupants were asked to leave the property following the incident. Given that law enforcement was involved, the possibility of at minimum a temporary trespass warning from Walt Disney World Resort seems likely, though nothing has been officially confirmed. Neither the resort nor the local authorities have released public statements regarding the incident.
The Reaction Online

The videos drew an emotional response from Disney Parks fans who immediately thought about the guests trapped inside that hotel room.
“I’m scared for the people behind the door,” said @tangledingrateful.

“You know inside is a woman who planned it, booked it, bought the matching family shirts, and here he is ruining the whole thing,” @elesgee613 added.
Guests who witness disruptive behavior at Walt Disney World Resort should resist the urge to intervene and instead flag down the nearest cast member, who can then escalate to security or law enforcement as the situation requires.
