Disney World and Hallmark Come Together for a Christmas Movie Fans Won’t Want to Miss

Every holiday season, Hallmark fans settle in with blankets, cocoa, and a lineup of movies that feel like a cozy ritual. These films are familiar in the best way—snowfall at just the right moment, an unexpected romance, and the promise that everything will work out by the final scene. Meanwhile, Disney World has its own holiday ritual. As soon as November arrives, the parks transform into a glowing wonderland full of music, decorations, and festive magic that reminds guests of how joyful the season can be.

So when Disney and Hallmark announced they were teaming up to make a brand-new holiday movie filmed at Disney World, it instantly felt like two worlds that naturally belong together were finally merging.

The movie, titled Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, will debut during Hallmark’s annual Countdown to Christmas event. The story centers around Lindsey, played by Lacey Chabert, who heads to Disney World with her family to celebrate Christmas. What she isn’t expecting is to run into Philip—the man she once had a truly disastrous first date with—who just happens to be staying next door on his own family vacation. Their awkward reunion quickly turns into a series of surprise encounters, and in classic Hallmark fashion, sparks begin to fly.

The cast is filled with familiar faces from holiday movies and family-friendly TV, from Richard Kind to Christy Carlson Romano. It creates that signature Hallmark feeling but wrapped in the whimsy of Disney World during its most magical months.

And truly, is there a better backdrop for a holiday romance? During November and December, Disney World feels like a Christmas movie already. Main Street glows with garlands and twinkling lights. A towering tree welcomes guests as soon as they enter the park. Seasonal entertainment fills the air with warmth, and there’s a certain joyful energy that makes even everyday moments feel special.

Guests visiting while the project is underway may feel a little extra excitement knowing they’re walking through areas that will appear in the film. And next year, when the movie airs, families may spot a familiar corner of Magic Kingdom or notice a detail from EPCOT, instantly recalling their own holiday vacations.

This collaboration is more than a movie—it’s a celebration of everything people love about the season. Hallmark brings the heartfelt storytelling. Disney brings the magic. Put the two together, and you get something that feels like a new holiday tradition waiting to begin.
