What is a Memory Maker?

Guests traveling to Walt Disney World can add Memory Maker to their Walt Disney World vacation package. Currently priced at $169.00 if purchased before travel, Memory Maker is an addition for many guests.

Once purchased, Memory Maker gives guests access to all their on-ride photos and all professional pictures taken by the fantastic Disney Photopass Photographers throughout the Walt Disney World Resort Property.

Guests will find their pictures on the My Disney Experience app. From there, they can download and share. After their trip, guests can see all their photos via the Disney PhotoPass site. From there, pictures can be downloaded to a computer.

Memory Maker is a fantastic way for guests to get everyone in the picture throughout their magical vacation to Walt Disney World.

Magic Shots

Disney PhotoPass Photographers can capture pictures of guests throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Some of these locations allow for these photographers to provide Magic Shots.

These specialty shots add a little extra magic to the pictures. It might be characters like Sven in Norway or Simba in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Although not all Disney PhotoPass Photographers can do Magic Shots, we always ask. You never know what fun will show up in your pictures when you do.

New Photo Options Coming

Disney Parks announced guests will have more photo opportunities in Walt Disney World this fall. Nine new opportunities are coming throughout Walt Disney World. These will be great ways to add magic to the fantastic pictures that can be taken throughout Walt Disney World.

In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will find Ahsoka Magic Shots featuring Chopper, a Loth Cat, and Ahsoka. This is in connection to the release of this show on Disney+.

There are some fantastic options for celebrating Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month.  A PhotoPass Cast Member will have Magic Shots inspired by beloved films such as Encanto (2021) and Coco (2017). We have seen pictures that include Bruno, Dante, and Luisa. These options are available in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

All four Disney parks will have Halloween Magic Shots during the fall season. At Disney Springs, guests can use a new Haunted Mansion backdrop. The  Disney Photopass studio is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., making it easy for guests to stop in for a great time.

We are thrilled about these new and exciting photo opportunities throughout Walt Disney World. Which Magic Shot are you looking forward to the most?

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
