Disney Springs venue offers “Hot Cookie Hour,” and it’s exactly as amazing as it sounds!

Guests visiting Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort have no excuse to browse around the shops at Disney’s dining, shopping, and entertainment district with an untended-to sweet tooth.

That’s because in 2020, Disney Springs added Gideon’s Bakehouse to its line-up of eateries, sweet shops, and food venues.

And Gideon’s Bakehouse isn’t just another average cookie shop. Known for their nearly half-pound, handmade cookies, Gideon’s Bakehouse offers the perfect remedy for that sweet tooth–and in ample portions!

Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs is a great spot for Guests who love cookies, but it’s the perfect spot for Guests who love cookies right out of the oven. That’s because two times a day, Gideons Bakehouse hosts its “Hot Cookie Hour” during which Guests can purchase the nearly half-pound delights while they’re still piping hot, fresh from the oven!

Guests can visit Gideons every day of the week for Hot Cookie Hour from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Disney Springs‘ newest cookie shop features exciting, delicious flavors like pistachio toffee chocolate chip, cookies and cream, dark coffee cake cookie (an evening-time limited edition flavor), peanut butter crunch, and the original chocolate chip cookie.

Gideon’s exclusive daily limited edition Disney Springs flavor is the coffee cake cookie. It’s extremely popular at the Walt Disney World Resort. The specialty cookie is an extra Buttery Vanilla Bean cookie filled with a cinnamon swirl. It’s then topped with Gideon’s Homemade Double Baked Butter Crumbs.

It’s worth mentioning that lots of Guests really like their Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies, as evidenced by the long lines that can usually be found at Gideon’s as parkgoers wait for their turn to enjoy a Gideon’s cookie. The good news is that Gideon’s also offers a virtual queue.

According to the Disney Springs website, Gideon’s Bakehouse serves cookies made in handmade, small batches, and each one weighs almost half a pound!

Orlando’s very own Gideon’s Bakehouse is best known for their ingredient-rich, from-scratch “almost half-pound” cookies that take over 24 hours to create. Prepare to experience flavors ranging from their celebrated Original Chocolate Chip to addicting Pistachio Toffee. Gideon’s brings an expanded menu of cookie and cake slices to Disney Springs, including a special line of Double Frosted Cakes and its own line of extraordinary iced drinks, including the Original Peanut Butter Iced Coffee. The ever-popular Coffee Cake Cookie, previously only available one month a year, will be on sale every morning. And each evening, you can indulge in a Hot Cookie Hour to cure your sweet tooth after dinner. Gideon’s is also known for secret Limited Edition first come first serve desserts, offering you fun and unique surprises throughout the year.
