Disney Springs Guests Are Lining Up for This New Pop-Up Shop

Disney Springs is the one spot on property where you can show up with zero plan and still walk away with a story.

No ticket. No reservation. No 6 a.m. alarm. You park, you walk, and something usually turns up. A merchandise pop-up that was not there last week. A band is playing near the water. A food cart in a spot that was empty seven days ago, selling something you did not know you wanted.

That is the whole draw for locals. The place refreshes itself constantly, and the good stuff often has a short shelf life.

Case in point, this weekend: Sol de Janeiro has a pop-up shop in Town Center, and it comes down Sunday.

Where It Is at Disney Springs

Town Center, directly across from Sephora.

You will spot it without trying. The exterior is bright orange and white with Sol de Janeiro branding all over it, and there are stanchions set up out front to handle the line, which has been long.

Heads up if you were planning a double stop: Sephora has had its own line outside. Budget extra time for both. Sephora is open until 11:30 p.m. Saturday, so hitting the pop-up first and circling back later is a reasonable move.

Park in the Orange or Lime garage, and you are a short walk away.

How Long Will It Be Around

July 23 through July 26, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Two of those four days are already gone. There is no word on an extension, and Disney Springs pop-ups tend to close exactly when they say they will.

If you can go earlier in the day, do. Town Center gets crowded in the evening once dinner traffic picks up.

What You Get Inside

More than a shop and a register.

The event includes fragrance sampling, photo opportunities, games, and gifts with purchase.

The sampling is the real reason to go. Sol de Janeiro’s scents are what made the brand blow up online in the first place, and smelling them in person beats guessing from a product description. The gift with purchase tends to move inventory fast, so popular items may thin out as the weekend winds down.

Who Sol de Janeiro Actually Is

If you have seen the name on your feed but never looked into it, here is the short version.

The brand is named after the “Sun of January,” the point where the sun sits highest during Brazilian summers. Its stated goal is bringing that peak summer feeling to everyone, anytime, anywhere.

The identity comes from Rio de Janeiro. In the brand’s own words, in Brazil, beauty is not a standard but an attitude, and confidence comes from feeling good in your own skin. Sol de Janeiro says it embraces every body, every curve, and every truth, with self-celebration and joy at the center of what it makes.

Why It Landed Next to Sephora at Disney Springs

Not a coincidence.

Sephora at Disney Springs calls itself the world’s leading beauty retailer, stocking hundreds of prestige makeup, fragrance, hair, nail, and skincare products across established names and newer ones.

The store also runs an in-store Beauty Studio with complimentary classes, skincare services, makeovers, and consultant advice. So if the pop-up puts you in a shopping mood, the rest is across the walkway.

Go This Weekend or Miss It

Disney Springs usually rewards people who wander. This one has a deadline attached.

The Sol de Janeiro pop-up wraps on July 26, and the lines suggest plenty of people already have it circled. If you are heading over anyway, it is an easy add to a Town Center walk. If you were undecided about going at all, this is the kind of thing that will be gone before you get a second shot.
