“Suspicious Person” at Disney Springs Days After Reported Threat

Law enforcement rushed to Disney Springs on Tuesday after reports of a “suspicious person” roaming Walt Disney World Resort’s shopping and dining complex. The response came less than two days after another emergency incident in the area, which involved a “violent threat/assault.”

Shortly after 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, law enforcement flooded Disney Springs after reports of a “suspicious person” at the entertainment complex. X (formerly known as Twitter) user @WDWActiveCrime, which tracks and reports scanner activity at Walt Disney World Resort, shared the news:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 12/16/25 2:46 PM

Little information is known about the person involved in this incident, or whether any arrest was made. The exact location of the emergency is unknown, as scanner reports at Walt Disney World Resort are typically pinned to centralized areas rather than specific addresses.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department often releases police reports about criminal incidents at Walt Disney World Resort, but hasn’t done so yet in this case.

Despite the law enforcement responses at Disney Springs this week, it’s completely safe to visit Walt Disney World Resort right now. Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park are operating normally.

Guests who encounter law enforcement or Disney security during their visits are encouraged to follow all written and verbal instructions.
