Disney Slashes VIP Prices: The Rare 20% Discount You Can’t Afford to Miss

If you ask any long-time DVC member what their ultimate Disney goal is, “booking a plaid” is usually at the top of the list. There is simply no better way to see the parks than with a Private VIP Tour. You get a completely customized itinerary where you call the shots, private transportation that bypasses the standard bus and monorail loops, and—most importantly—almost zero wait times for the best attractions.

Historically, these tours have been “rack rate” only, but for 2026, the Disney Vacation Club is breaking that trend. Members are getting a 20% discount on Private VIP Tours for select dates between April 25 and October 2026. For a family of up to ten people, this makes the “per person” cost of a VIP experience much more palatable. Instead of just being a pipe dream for the ultra-wealthy, this discount brings the tour into the realm of possibility for families looking to celebrate a special occasion.

What does that day actually look like? You start with a pickup at your resort in a private vehicle, often entering the parks through “secret” backstage entrances. Your guide handles all the logistics, so you aren’t staring at your phone trying to refresh virtual queues or Lightning Lane windows all day. They also provide incredible commentary and history that you just don’t get from a standard park map.

It’s also an ideal time to look at the total vacation “package.” While this VIP discount is the big news, don’t forget the occasional deals on Club Level rooms that have been popping up. These rooms give you that sanctuary of a private lounge and food throughout the day. Pairing a Club Level stay with a day is essentially the “gold standard” of a 20% discounted Disney vacation. To get it scheduled, you need to coordinate with a DVC service Member. Since these guides are some of the most specialized Cast Members on property, they book up fast, so having your member ID ready and a flexible date range is key.
