Walt Disney World Resort is home to four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each theme park offers unique experiences and attractions that cater to visitors of all ages. In addition to the four theme parks, Disney World also has two water parks, Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach. Disney World continues to evolve and grow, with new attractions and experiences being added regularly.

One Disney Cast Member recently had a medical emergency. Stephan Mikes was once called “the man who can do anything.” You can see just how true this is by exploring the Stephan Mikes’ Channel on YouTube. Guests may recognize Mikes for his live performances at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Mr. Mikes was feeling slightly under the weather, and he performed all but the second half of his last set before being rushed to the hospital.

While at the hospital, Stephan Mikes had quintuple bypass surgery. A GoFundMe campaign has been started by the family of Stephan Mikes, who suffered a medical emergency while working at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The family has also expressed their appreciation for any support or donations made towards the cause.

While Stephan Mikes is on the road to recovery, he still will have 6 to 8 weeks out of action. The GoFundMe campaign remains open for those who wish to support the performer and their family during this difficult time.

Though Mikes’ shows are stopped for now, the good news is that he does hopefully plan to return once his recovery is finished.

Disney Dining sends our prayers to Stephan Mikes and his family, and we can’t wait to see him performing again soon.
