Marvel Land Gets Sudden Shake-up at Disney Park From Next Week
A familiar Marvel character will return to Disneyland Paris next week, arriving just ahead of a major rebrand for the resort’s second gate.
The update comes as Walt Disney Studios Park prepares to relaunch as Disney Adventure World on March 29, part of a broader effort to refresh the park’s identity and expand its offerings.

Avengers Campus, which opened at the Paris park in 2022, has played a central role in that transformation. The land is one of two worldwide, alongside its counterpart at Disney California Adventure, which debuted in 2021.
Both versions were designed to bring Marvel stories into a physical space, with live performances, character encounters, and interactive elements positioned alongside traditional rides.
Guests in California can experience WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!, while Paris offers Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure.
Despite those differences, the two lands have drawn similar feedback. Visitors have pointed to a limited number of attractions and a reliance on screen-based experiences, with some noting that the storytelling can feel disconnected across the land.

Disney has not announced any major ride additions for the Paris location. Instead, the company is introducing a new entertainment offering.
Disney Introduces New Entertainment Offering in Avengers Campus
Deadpool will return to Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris from March 28 through July 15, 2026. This time, the character will host a live show in which he interacts with guests and judges their dance moves.

The character previously appeared in the land to promote Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024. During that run, he was primarily positioned on rooftops, delivering commentary and interacting with guests from a distance.
The new format places him at ground level and introduces a more structured, repeatable performance.
A similar approach was tested in California in 2025, when Story Time with Deadpool returned for the holiday season. The show featured the character in a seasonal role, delivering comedic retellings alongside Wolverine.
Disney has not said whether the Paris offering could return in the future.
Changes Arrive as Park Expansion Continues
The timing of Deadpool’s return overlaps with the launch of Disney Adventure World, which will introduce several new areas and experiences.

World of Frozen will be among the headline additions, featuring the attraction Frozen Ever After. The park will also debut Rapunzel Tangled Spin and a new central area known as Adventure Bay.
A nighttime show, Cascade of Lights, is expected to anchor evening entertainment, alongside new dining locations including The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge.
Early previews have pointed to some operational challenges. Frozen Ever After has experienced periods of downtime, with long queues forming when the ride is available.
The park has historically faced capacity issues, and it remains unclear how much the new additions will ease demand.

In California, a larger expansion is already underway at Avengers Campus. Disney has announced plans to double the size of the land, adding two attractions: Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.
Avengers Infinity Defense is expected to be a large-scale experience featuring multiple Marvel characters, while Stark Flight Lab will center on a flight simulation set within Tony Stark’s workshop, with Robert Downey Jr. reprising his role.
No comparable expansion has been announced for Disneyland Paris.
