Disney just confirmed nine exciting additions that will transform EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays. This celebration has always been about global culture and unity, and these new additions further solidify that mission. Each pavilion will spotlight a different storyteller or performer, allowing guests to experience the holidays through the lens of diverse cultures from around the world.

A Closer Look at EPCOT’s 9 Additions

1. Over in the China Pavilion, the Chinese Lion Dancer bursts onto the scene with dazzling drums, bright colors, and movements symbolizing prosperity and joy.

2. In Norway, guests can meet the Mischievous, Magical Barn Santa, also known as “Julenissen,” who brings humor and folklore to life in the most playful way possible.

3. At the Japan Pavilion, the Daruma Storyteller shares inspiring lessons about perseverance and good luck, encouraging guests to reflect on their own goals for the coming year.

4. The Italy Pavilion welcomes La Befana, a gentle witch who delivers gifts to children on Epiphany Eve—a story filled with kindness and tradition.

5. In Canada, guests can sing along with the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs, whose energetic performances capture the multicultural heartbeat of the Great White North.

6. Between the Morocco and France Pavilions, a Hanukkah Storyteller joins the lineup, celebrating the Festival of Lights through music and story.

7. At the Mexico Pavilion, guests can enjoy the Las Posadas Celebration, a vibrant retelling of Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter. This performance fills the air with traditional Mexican music, dancing, and heartwarming community spirit—an energetic celebration that invites guests to sing and celebrate the meaning of togetherness.

8. Over in the United Kingdom Pavilion, Father Christmas returns to deliver his tales of classic British cheer.

9. At the same time, the France Pavilion closes out the event with Père Noël, who paints a picture of French family traditions and holiday spirit.

More Disney Parks in Motion

EPCOT isn’t the only park getting attention. Over at Animal Kingdom, fans are lining up early. They’re eager to see the grand opening of Zootopia: Better Together. The brand-new show officially debuts today, November 7.

Magic Kingdom also has two major refurbishments underway. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin are both getting some needed updates. At the same time, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is just getting started. Meanwhile, Hollywood Studios is getting ready for Jollywood Nights, its glamorous after-hours holiday celebration.
