Disney Just Quietly Changed Toy Story Land

Let’s be honest: nobody loves running into construction walls at a Disney park. But sometimes those walls are a sign that better things are coming. That seems to be the case at Disney’s Hollywood Studios right now, where Toy Story Land is getting some long-overdue updates that might make your next visit even more fun—and more comfortable.

A New Snack Spot Appears

One of the biggest changes on the horizon is a brand-new snack kiosk nestled near the restrooms in Toy Story Land. It’s located just before the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge. Permits were recently filed, and construction crews are already at work. The details are still under wraps—Disney hasn’t revealed a name, menu, or opening date—but the timing couldn’t be better.

Toy Story Land has always felt like it needed more grab-and-go food options, especially for families looking to fuel up between rides like Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania.

Woody’s Lunch Box Finally Got a Makeover

Another improvement guests will notice is at Woody’s Lunch Box. After years of overcrowded tables and limited seating, Disney expanded the dining area. There’s now a shaded section with much more room to sit and enjoy your lunch. The new space blends well with the land’s playful theming, and it’s already making mealtime a lot less stressful.

Bright Walls, Big Questions

Of course, Disney being Disney, they’ve thrown in some intrigue. Brightly colored construction walls—complete with Toy Story quotes—have appeared along key walkways in the land. They’re not your average refurb barriers, which suggests more than just a coat of paint. Some speculate a larger thematic update could be coming, or that the missing Toy Story Land sign is being reinstalled.

Why These Updates Matter

While none of these changes are headline-grabbing on their own, they do show that Disney is paying attention to guest feedback. Toy Story Land is vibrant and popular, but it’s also been a bit of a logistical headache since it opened—tight pathways, not enough shade, and few food options. These subtle changes could make a big difference.

Hollywood Studios Continues to Evolve

As Hollywood Studios continues to grow, it’s nice to see some love going back into the lands that have been around for a while. From Galaxy’s Edge to Sunset Boulevard, every corner of the park is getting attention. And now, it’s Toy Story Land’s turn to shine a little brighter.
