Alright west coast Disney fans! We have some great news! The Bowers Museum reopens today, September 12, after the coronavirus closure. Disney fans will once again have a chance to see “Inside the Walt Disney Archives: 50 Years of Preserving the Magic” at the Santa Ana museum, before the exhibit begins its world tour.
As shared by the OCRegister: “The Bowers Museum will be extending its popular Disney history exhibit until Feb. 28. Disneyphiles will once again have a chance to see “Inside the Walt Disney Archives: 50 Years of Preserving the Magic” at the Santa Ana museum, before the exhibit begins its world tour. The show features 465 items seldom or never displayed from the company’s archives, including the golden mechanical bird that Walt Disney bought for his wife, that inspired the idea for animatronic animals and the Enchanted Tiki Room. Film costumes, important company memos, concept art and more are also on view.”
