In recent years, Walt Disney World has slowly welcomed more thrilling additions to each theme park. Magic Kingdom just welcomed TRON Lightcycle Run, in previous years, it welcomed the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Animal Kingdom has been home to Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain for years. Hollywood Studios is home to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and Slinky Dog Dash.

Over in EPCOT lies Mission: SPACE, an intense attraction simulating a NASA mission. But in May 2022, EPCOT also welcomed Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
This roller coaster is off the chain, especially by Disney Park standards. It’s thrilling, exciting, and overall a huge blast! But unfortunately, it’s not for everyone…

One Guest recently took their little one on this ride, only to find out that it was definitely not for them! They wrote,
“Well I traumatized my youngest son today by having us ride Cosmic Rewind. We were able to ride Nemo before we left to give him a palette cleanser.”
Unfortunately, we’ve all been there, even at Walt Disney World. There’s always an attraction or two that just seems too intense.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind features spinning, a reverse launch, and the usual twists and turns associated with roller coaster attractions. It’s quickly become infamous for making many Guests experience symptoms of motion sickness after riding.
If you’re unsure whether your little ones can handle the attraction, be sure to use caution. After all, there’s always the next visit to Walt Disney World to try a new ride!
