Disneyland Paris has shared new details about its upcoming new ride based on The Lion King (1994). This water log flume ride will be the first dedicated attraction based on the beloved film, which is significant for fans of the franchise.

This attraction distinguishes itself with its innovative water log flume design, which has become a classic format in theme parks but is embraced with unique twists by Disney.

The ride will feature a dual platform load station, a progressive concept that sets it apart not only from other similar attractions at Disneyland but also from the newly transformed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure found in Disney’s American parks. The dual load station will enhance efficiency and minimize wait times, providing a smoother guest experience. As the ride incorporates state-of-the-art technology, it raises the bar on guest expectations, showing a commitment to delivering both excitement and convenience.

Disneyland Paris’ new Lion King ride will be rich in thematic elements, featuring a splendid array of 19 distinct scenes that capture the essence of the original film.

From the vibrant colors of the African savanna to the emotional moments shared among characters, guests will explore various settings throughout the attraction.

Adding to the thrill, the ride will include three drops designed to elevate the excitement and immerse guests in the story’s journey. Iconic scenes and characters will unfold before riders, invoking memories and feelings associated with the film while engaging the audience in a high-energy adventure.
