With Just Three Days To Go, Disney Adds $25 Upcharge for Christmas Parade
As the holiday season approaches, Disneyland Paris Resort has introduced an additional fee for an exclusive Christmas experience. With only three days left until the return of Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, Disney has announced a $25 upcharge for a reserved viewing area.
Premium Viewing Comes with a Price

For the first time ever, guests at Disneyland Paris Resort can secure a prime spot for Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade by paying an extra fee. The premium viewing area will be positioned in front of Plaza Gardens Restaurant, facing Central Plaza, offering guests the best seats for the parade.
The cost of securing a spot in this exclusive viewing area is 21 Euros (approximately $24 USD) per person. This new offering will be available throughout the holiday season, starting November 8. Disney is promoting this premium experience as a way to ensure guests can enjoy a perfect view of the parade without having to stake out a spot early.
How It Works
Disneyland Paris guests can book the premium viewing spot in advance using the Disneyland Paris Resort app. However, it’s important to note that only a limited number of slots are available each day, and reservations are not eligible for discounts. Guests interested in securing their spot are advised to act quickly before all slots fill up.

Disney recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before the parade begins to guarantee entry, as the viewing area will close 10 minutes before the parade start time. Even those who have paid for the premium experience could miss out if they arrive late. For those who do not want to pay the additional fee, the rest of the parade route remains free and open for all guests.
The Christmas Magic Remains for All Disney Guests

While some Disney Park guests may choose to pay for the premium experience, the Christmas Parade itself remains included with park admission. Guests can still enjoy the festivities along the regular route of Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, which remains open to all visitors. Disney encourages guests to check the Disneyland Paris Resort app or official website for up-to-date showtimes and details on where to catch the parade for free.
