A Disney California Adventure Park cast member recently collapsed in front of several Disneyland Resort guests. The emergency situation occurred either on May 26 or 27, 2025, near Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill in the San Fransokyo Square area. Disney Park guests witnessed the cast member faint and fall to the ground, and what followed was a remarkable display of guest assistance and quick thinking.
Reddit user u/Meoldic-Newt1904 shared their experience in a post asking if anyone knew the condition of the cast member after they had seen him collapse. The guest explained that the man was on the ground unconscious “for quite some time.” Fortunately, a nearby guest reacted quickly, helping the Disney cast member safely to the ground and alerting other employees.
“Luckily there was a man standing nearby him when the episode happened and helped him get to the ground safely,” the Redditor recalled. The guest described how their husband was able to assist the fallen cast member while others rushed to help as well: “My husband walked over and advised the 3 people around him to turn him on to his side and used the cart of trays to block him while they waited for security and medics to come.”
The emergency was handled swiftly, but the family left the area before the situation was fully resolved. The Disney Park guest did not have an update on the fallen cast member’s condition.
Disneyland Resort has not released any public statements about the incident, which is typical as to respect the cast members’ privacy. It is unknown whether the cast member regained consciousness on their own or required further medical attention.
Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort guests who witness a medical emergency should alert the nearest cast member and look for any trained medical professionals nearby. Disney cast members can quickly contact security and medical teams, and off-duty doctors or nurses may be able to assist in the meantime.
