Tokyo Disney Resort has taken a significant step toward enhancing its hospitality offerings with a planned renovation for Hotel MiraCosta. Starting on August 19, 2026, the renovations will unfold intermittently, continuing until July 20, 2027. During this period, certain guest rooms will be closed off for updates to improve the overall experience for future guests. The hotel, known for its beautiful Italian-inspired architecture and close proximity to Tokyo DisneySea, is set to receive a fresh makeover, ensuring it continues to meet guests’ expectations.

Guests visiting during this renovation period should brace themselves for some disruptions. While enjoying the enchanting surroundings of Hotel MiraCosta, they might encounter construction noise, vibrations, and visual signs of work in progress. Although the team at Hotel MiraCosta will work diligently to minimize any disturbances, it’s recommended for potential visitors to consider this when planning their stay.

Types of Rooms Affected

As the renovation affects various sections of the hotel, guests should note that specific types of rooms may be temporarily unavailable. Various accommodations will be impacted throughout the renovation, leading to limitations on booking specific room types.

The scheduling of room unavailability has been clearly outlined by Tokyo Disney Resort. From August 19, 2026, through March 31, 2027, certain rooms will not be available.

For example, from January 13 to February 16, 2027, the Venice Side Superior Room (Double Bed) and other specialized suites will be among the unavailable options. Following this, from February 17 until March 23, 2027, additional room types including several suites facing the harbor will also see temporary unavailability.
