A Park of Infinite Possibilities

EPCOT is home to a mix of classic and new attractions that cater to a variety of interests. Thrill-seekers can blast off with Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, while families enjoy the culinary chaos of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France Pavilion. Frozen Ever After in Norway continues to charm fans of the beloved Disney film, and Spaceship Earth takes visitors on an inspiring journey through the history of communication.

For those who love a slower pace, Living with the Land offers a fascinating look at sustainable agriculture, and The American Adventure provides a patriotic showcase of the nation’s history. There’s truly something for everyone at EPCOT.

Culinary Delights Await

Dining is one of EPCOT’s standout features, with options ranging from quick bites to fine dining experiences. The World Showcase is a foodie’s paradise, featuring authentic flavors from around the globe. Enjoy a hearty steak at Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada, or indulge in artisan wood-fired pizza at Via Napoli in Italy. The Rose & Crown Dining Room in the United Kingdom Pavilion is a fan favorite, offering classic pub fare alongside stunning views of the park’s nighttime spectacular.

For an immersive experience, guests can visit the Mexico Pavilion’s San Angel Inn Restaurante, where the ambiance of a perpetual twilight and views of the nearby waterway create a magical dining atmosphere.

One of the highlights of EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion is the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, a delightful boat ride that takes guests on a whimsical journey through vibrant Mexican landscapes. Featuring Donald Duck, Panchito, and José Carioca, the ride is a low-key favorite for families looking for a fun and relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of the park.

Unfortunately, the Gran Fiesta Tour is currently closed for a scheduled refurbishment. The attraction is set to reopen on March 15th, following a two-month hiatus. While Disney has not revealed any significant updates, this downtime is expected to focus on general maintenance, a deep clean, and potential touch-ups to ensure the ride is in top condition.

While the Gran Fiesta Tour remains closed, the Mexico Pavilion continues to welcome guests with its signature charm. Visitors will notice planters blocking off the ride’s entrance instead of the usual construction walls, maintaining the pavilion’s immersive atmosphere. Inside the pyramid, Cast Members are engaging guests with interactive games like hopscotch and ring toss, offering a fun distraction from the temporary closure.

The adjacent San Angel Inn Restaurante is operating as usual, allowing diners to enjoy the scenic backdrop of the pavilion’s interior. While the ride itself has been drained of water to facilitate maintenance, the warm lighting and detailed décor inside the pyramid continue to provide a visually captivating experience.

The Gran Fiesta Tour isn’t the only attraction undergoing updates. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom is also closed, though its refurbishment is part of a much larger project, with the popular roller coaster not expected to reopen until 2026. These closures, while disappointing for some, reflect Disney’s commitment to maintaining its attractions at the highest standard.

EPCOT’s Everlasting Appeal

Though the Gran Fiesta Tour is temporarily unavailable, EPCOT offers countless experiences to keep guests entertained. From thrilling attractions to cultural discoveries and unforgettable dining, the park continues to shine as a destination where magic meets the modern world. Visitors can look forward to the return of the Gran Fiesta Tour, refreshed and ready to delight fans once more, while continuing to enjoy all the wonders EPCOT has to offer.
