There is a lot to do at Disney Springs. There is plenty of shopping, you can catch a movie, enjoy live entertainment, see Walt Disney World from 400 feet in the air, and much more. Arguably the best reason to visit Disney Springs, though, is the food. Here are six of the many reasons why we love dining at Disney Springs.

6. Parking

Parking at Disney Springs is fairly simple. There are two parking garages, and several other lots as well. Space was tight for a while, but things have improved quite a bit since the garages opened. (A third garage is coming, but that is still a couple of years away.) If you have a dining reservation, you will still want to give yourself plenty of time, especially if you are visiting in the evening. The best part of parking at Disney Springs is that it is free. One last word about parking, you cannot park at Disney Springs and take a bus to a theme park. Buses run to the hotels, but not to the parks.

5. Views

Disney Springs is beautiful, especially near sunset. There are some great restaurants from where you can see day turn to evening. Many restaurants offer outdoor dining, giving you a chance to relax and watch the water. One of the best views is new, it’s from the top of the Coca Cola Store. While the Coca Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar is more of a lounge than a restaurant, it’s definitely worth a stop, no matter what time of day it is.

4. Nightlife

You might have come for the sunset, but you’ll want to stay at Disney Springs after dark. Several of the restaurants have live music or other entertainment. While the bars of Pleasure Island are gone, there is still plenty to do in the evening. If you are visiting with your family you might want to bowl or enjoy a dance party. Of course the bowling isn’t just for families; Splitsville has five bars. There are romantic restaurants for two, as well as plenty of places to grab an exotic cocktail. It is no surprise that Disney Springs is popular after dark with tourists and locals alike.

3. Value

Dining at Walt Disney World can be expensive, but there are two meal options at Disney Springs that won’t hurt your budget. The first is a classic. Earl of Sandwich is a Disney Springs staple, dating back to 2004. The lunch and dinner menu features hot sandwiches built to order. Breakfast is served as well. Earl of Sandwich is known as one of the most affordable restaurants at Walt Disney World, and the line grows long fast. Don’t worry, the staff knows how to move things along quickly. The second value eatery opened in 2016. Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza allows you to build your own pie, or choose from the list of specialty pizzas. You will place your order and it will be ready in three minutes. Once again, the line might be long, but it blazes along.

2. Variety

If you are looking for variety, you can’t go wrong at Disney Springs! Want Mexican, American, Cuban, Irish, or Asian? You’ll find it at Disney Springs. Want vegan baked goods, ice cream, or a pretzel? No problem! Disney Springs has everything from snack kiosks to fine dining. No matter what you are in the mood for, there’s a good chance that it is sold at Disney Springs.

1. Signature Choices

There is something special about signature dining at Walt Disney World. The restaurants are elegant, the food is exquisite, but there are still classic Disney touches such as Hidden Mickeys. Disney Springs has several different signature options to choose from. You can enjoy fresh seafood, dishes created by internationally famous chefs, and unique atmospheres. Foodies love Disney Springs because there are so many fine dining options, and more are on the way. Make a reservation for at least one of the Disney Springs signature restaurants when planning your next Walt Disney World vacation.

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
