EPCOT’s World Showcase has so much to offer Guests when it comes to shopping, entertainment, and especially dining! Here at DisneyDining.com, we want to give you all the best information about Walt Disney World’s restaurants. Today, we’re taking a look at the dining options in the Japan Pavilion.

The Japan Pavilion in World Showcase offers Quick Service, Table Service, and Fine Dining restaurants. From quick snacks to relaxed dining experiences, the pavilion has something for every Disney World traveler. Japan is also home to the Mitsukoshi Department Store and the Bijitsu-kan Gallery.

Teppan Edo

Teppan Edo offerings an entertaining and unique dining experience for everyone Guest. This Table Service location requires advanced dining reservations, which can be made up to 60 days before your trip. The restaurant serves Teppan-yaki style food cooked in front of Guests by skilled chefs.

Takumi-Tei

Takumi-Tei in Japan offers one of Walt Disney World’s most unique signature dining experiences. This restaurant requires advanced dining reservations; Guests can make a reservation up to 60 days before their trip. The restaurant features five beautiful dining rooms, the most exclusive being the Water Room, which is available to reserve for a private meal. This dining experience is unmatched and unforgettable.

Garden House

Garden House is a bit of a hidden gem in the Japan Pavilion. This Quick Service restaurant offers refreshing teas and cocktails. We especially love the Violet Sake at this location. Don’t miss out on what this dining location has to offer.

Katsura Grill

For a delicious, quick meal in the Japan pavilion, head towards Katsura Grill, located on the pavilion’s second level. Beautiful scenery and Japanese gardens surround this restaurant. Enjoy sushi, Udon, Ramen, or protein dishes featuring chicken, shrimp, or pork at this dining location. This location will accept the Disney Dining Plans upon their return in 2024.

Kabuki Cafe

Kabuki Cafe is an excellent stop for a frozen drink or a tasty snack. This location offers the famous Kakigori, flavored Japanese shaved ice, available to be topped with sweet milk. This Quick Service restaurant is a great stop for Guests eating or drinking around the world, as it’s located on the pavilion’s outer edge near World Showcase Lagoon.
