The Magic Kingdom is home to some amazing table service restaurants that offer up wonderful combinations of unique and delicious menu items and immersive theming. The Plaza Restaurant is a favorite of many Guests as it features a relatively small dining area, a charming theme, and a classic and casual menu of American favorites that are always perfectly cooked.

Situated on the end of Main Street, The Plaza Restaurant is a small dining location that evokes the charm and elegance of the turn-of-the-century with an exterior featuring crisp white molding with intricate cutouts, gold embellishments, and a classic sign advertising the location. Guests who are waiting to be seated at the restaurant can enjoy the charm and ambiance of Main Street and relax at nearby tables with umbrellas for shade on warm days.

Once seated inside, Guests can soak in the theming of The Plaza Restaurant, which combines classic and Art Nouveau touches for a bright and inviting interior. The walls feature gold tinted mirrors with intricate white molding, white and gold pillars are scattered throughout, and glass and gold light fixtures add a touch of elegance to the space.

Comfortable booth and table seating can be found throughout The Plaza Restaurant, and nearly every seat offers beautiful views of large windows that look out facing Cinderella Castle. Guests can enjoy the views of Cinderella Castle as well as any entertainment that happens to pass by on Main Street and the hub grass and fountains just outside.

The Plaza Restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and serves up American classics from limited, but delicious, identical menus. To begin any meal at The Plaza Restaurant, Guests can enjoy a selection of beverages including soft drinks and coffee as well as a selection of beer and wine which are only offered at table service locations within the Magic Kingdom.

Appetizers at The Plaza Restaurant include some hearty and light favorites that Guests are sure to enjoy. The BLT Salad features fresh iceberg lettuce, tomato, house-made bacon, and green goddess dressing for a light way to start off a meal, and it also pairs perfectly with the soup of the day which Cast Members will inform Guests of at the beginning of each meal.

Guests can also enjoy the plant-based Chili appetizer which features a pinto bean chili with cashew cream and lime wedge as well as Seared Crab Cakes with crispy apple slaw. Those who are looking to share an appetizer (or are just really hungry!) can opt for the favorite Plaza Loaded Fries which serves two and tops perfectly fried fries with melted cheddar cheese, house-made bacon, and green onions.

Several sandwich options are served each day at The Plaza Restaurant, including the signature Plaza Turkey Club. This popular sandwich tops toasted sourdough bread with roasted turkey, house-made bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise for a perfectly executed take on a true American classic. It’s also worth noting that while the Plaza Turkey Club sounds simple, it is a very filling option with surprisingly more turkey and toppings than one might think!

Guests who are looking to enjoy a warm sandwich can order the Roast Beef Au Jus for a hearty and comforting option for both lunch and dinner. The sandwich is served on a toasted sub roll which is filled with a large portion of house-cooked roast beef, caramelized onions, and peppers and then drizzled with horseradish sauce. The sandwich is also served with a side of au jus for Guests to dip into, making each bite flavorful and moist!

The final sandwich on the menu is a Monte Cristo Sandwich which uses a special batter for a totally unique take on a classic. House-made bacon, roasted turkey, and provolone are combined and then deep-fried in a light and airy funnel cake batter to elevate this sandwich to another level! The whole thing is then sprinkled with powdered sugar and special EARidescent decoration for the 50th anniversary and served with a side of strawberry jam to add a layer of sweetness to the meal.

Burger fans who dine at The Plaza Restaurant can order The Main Street Burger, which is packed with big flavors and indulgent toppings. A seven-ounce all-beef patty is served on a flour-dusted Kaiser bun and topped with cheddar, house-made bacon, lettuce, tomato, sunny-side up egg, beer-battered onion rings, and roasted poblano mayonnaise for a spicy, fresh, and crunchy bite that will leave Guests wanting more!

The final dessert on the menu is the “Cheers to 50 Years!” specialty item, being served just for the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration. This indulgent dessert features chocolate and vanilla ice cream, brownies, cupcakes, cookie crumbles, pretzel rods, hot fudge, whipped cream, EARidescent sugar, a Mickey pretzel, caramel sauce, and chocolate icing for a totally over the top and delicious dessert option.
