In an unexpected turn of events, Dancing With the Stars host Alfonso Ribeiro sustained an injury while filming at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Ribeiro was participating in the taping of an ABC holiday special on the iconic Main Street, U.S.A., when the incident took place. Fans and guests who had gathered to watch the event were shocked as the beloved television star suffered a mishap during a dance segment with his co-host, professional dancer Julianne Hough.

According to reports, Ribeiro, known for his charisma and sharp dance moves, accidentally rolled his ankle on a trolley rail in the middle of his performance. The incident was captured on video, showing Ribeiro leaning on Hough for support before crew members quickly rushed in to assist him. According to sources who spoke to TMZ, the actor was later seen using a wheelchair and even throwing up in a nearby trash can.
Despite the dramatic scene, fans of Ribeiro can breathe a sigh of relief. TMZ reported: “Sources close to Alfonso tell TMZ … the ankle injury is indeed minor, and he’s returning to production today to finish the special.” The star is determined to continue with his filming commitments and is set to participate in the upcoming 500th episode of Dancing With the Stars.
