Location

The Contempo Cafe is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It is on the Resort’s 4th floor, next to Chef Mickey’s Restaurant. Guests arriving by monorail to the Contemporary will need to exit the monorail and descend one floor to reach this dining location.

Quick Service or Table Service?

Contempo Cafe is a Quick Service dining location. This means no dining reservations are needed to grab a bite at this restaurant. Due to this dining location’s popularity, Disney’s Mobile Order feature is available.

This feature allows guests to place an order ahead using the My Disney Experience app. You’ll be notified once your order is ready, and you can proceed to the restaurant to pick it up without waiting in line. Check the My Disney Experience app, as this feature may only be open to Disney Contemporary Resort guests at busier meal times.

Atmosphere

This restaurant has a more relaxed and casual dining atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated with stunning murals and brightly colored art. The Contemporary’s open design allows Guests to see the monorail as it passes through the Resort above the restaurant.

Watch for passing monorail riders who may wave to you as you enjoy your meal.

Menu Options

Contempo Cafe Breakfast

The Contempo Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with delicious menu options. Start your day with breakfast choices like Mickey-shaped Waffles, the Bounty Platter, or the Breakfast Tofu Bowl.

Kids’ meals include the Breakfast Sandwich or Small Mickey-shaped Waffles. Lunch and dinner menu options feature signature sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, and kids’ meals.

The cafe has beverages, pre-packaged snacks, and desserts like the DOLE Whip Cupcake or the Peanut Butter Pie, available all day. For the complete menu, Guests can check the My Disney Experience app.

Dining Tips

Currently, this dining location will accept both Disney Dining Plans. This means that Guests using the Disney Dining Plan or the Quick Service Dining Plan during their stay will be able to redeem a Quick Service meal or snack credit at this restaurant.
