It looks like another restaurant at Magic Kingdom will join the Mobile Ordering family! Â Columbia Harbour House will be the next quick service location to offer this fabulous service that allows guests to order and pick up their meals using their smart phone. Â The service will be available at Columbia Harbour House starting on Monday, July 31st. Â For guests that want to try out the service, they will need to download the My Disney Experience app, link a card for payment to their My Disney Experience account and use it to place the order.
With the service, guests are able to order and pay for their meal via My Disney Experience on their phones. Once they arrive at the restaurant, then they can check the “I am here” button and the location will start prepping your food.  You receive a notification when your food is ready and which window to go and pick up the food from.  If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, unfortunately you won’t be able to to use the service since it is currently isn’t synced with the Disney Dining Plans.  We definitely hope that this will be an enhancement in the future!
So far it looks like the rollout of the service is going well and guests are responding well to it. Â We can’t wait to see the rest of the quick service restaurants add the service.
Who out there has tried Mobile Ordering already? Â Which restaurant did you try it at?
