Check Out Walt Disney World’s Best Bites for March 2019

March 2019 is shaping up to be a great food month at Walt Disney World!  Thanks to Disney Parks Blog, we have an amazing look at some of the new offerings coming to Walt Disney World that you won’t want to miss.  There is a new food truck coming to Disney Springs, the Neighborhood Bakery at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and more!  You will definitely want to check out this list and start planning a trip to taste them all!

The Mac & Cheese Truck will be latest addition to the fleet of food trucks which are parked on the West Side of Disney Springs.  The location will offer a selection of amazing mac and cheese dishes! There is the Crunchy Mac-N-Cheese with six different cheeses and topped with crunchy cheese puffs, the Bacon Cheeseburger Mac-N-Cheese with creamy cheddar and American cheese mixed with ground beef and topped with bacon, shredded lettuce, tomato, sliced pickles, ketchup, mustard, and crispy potato sticks.

There is also the Italian-inspired Chicken Parmesan Mac-N-Cheese with Alfredo sauce topped crispy fried chicken, marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese, and basil and the Smoked Brisket Mac-N-Cheese made with cheddar and smoked gouda and topped with tender smoked brisket, sweet and tangy barbecue sauce, crispy onion rings, and chives. If you love seafood, then you will want to check out the Lobster and Shrimp Mac-N-Cheese with cheddar and Swiss topped with buttery lobster, shrimp, and crackers. Currently, the Mac & Cheese Truck is expected to be joining the Disney Springs family in March!

While in Disney Springs, you will also want to head over to  B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co.  There are three new foot long hot dogs being offered: the Hawaiian Island Dog topped with grilled pineapple salsa, spam, and teriyaki; the New York Pastrami Reuben Dog topped with shaved pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing; and the Texas Chili Cheese Dog topped with chili, cheddar cheese, and corn crisps. If you want to try all three of them, then you can order the Three Little Pigs Hot Dog Sampler with mini versions of all three of these amazing hot dogs!

Also added to the menu is the Italian Sausage with sautéed peppers and onions and marinara; Lamb Sausage with tomato chutney, yogurt sauce, and arugula served on pita bread; and Bratwurst Sausage with sauerkraut and German mustard served on pretzel roll. A Veggie Brat option is also available. If you managed to save room for dessert, then you have to check out the Maple Bacon Cookie Dough topped with candied bacon!

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there is a new bakery opening, The Neighborhood Bakery.  The bakery is at An Incredible Celebration at Pixar Place.  There will be special offerings for the celebration including the limited-time Mask Pretzel and the Incredible Hero Sandwich with Italian meats and cheeses and an olive tapenade.  You will also want to check out the Num Num Cookie or a Key Lime Pie on a stick, too!

There will also be a blue raspberry Frozone Slush with whipped cream offered and well as the Secret Identity, made with frozen Coca-Cola and cherry cotton candy.

Over at the World Showcase within Epcot, you will want to head to Yorkshire County Fish Shop.  Starting on March 6th there will be a Traditional English Meat Pie offered. This dish features pie crust dough filled with chicken, mushroom, bacon, leeks, thyme, and nutmeg in a creamy gravy and is served with chips (fries).

Of course you won’t want to miss what is happening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, too.  Tiffins Restaurant has changed up their menu for the kiddos. Kids will be able to choose from Shredded Beef Tacos with queso fresco; Bunny Chow featuring brioche stuffed with a curried stew of root vegetables and plant-based protein; Grilled Shrimp with ginger-tamari sauce; or White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese. For dessert there is a Cookies and Cream Brownie or Tres Leches (triple-soaked vanilla sponge cake).
