Celebrate World Whisky Day at Walt Disney World’s Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs

World Whisky day is coming up on May 19th, 2019.  Morimoto Asia is celebrating with special events and offerings that whisky fans won’t want to miss!  The event is called the Forbidden Whisky Reserve Event and will be a “spirited celebration of whisky”.  It will be held upstairs at the Forbidden Lounge from 12 PM through 4 PM on May 19th.  While at the event, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of different whisky offerings from around the world.  It is definitely a treat for the whisky lovers out there.

There will also be a dedicated menu just for the event that will offer a variety of delicious street food bites that have been created by Chef Yuhi Fujinaga.  Even better, the bites will be available for only $1 each.  There will be 1/2 ounce samples of 20 different whisky varieties available for purchase like Booker’s 30th, Elmer Lee, Stagg, etc. There will be representatives from  Buffalo Trace, Beam Suntory, Old Forrester, and Heaven Hill at the the event to answer questions and provide information about their respective whisky distilleries.

There is no ticket required to attend the event and no extra cost.  Guests must be at least 21 and older in order to attend.

Who would love to sample the whisky offerings and bites from Morimoto Asia?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
