Celebrate ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ at Walt Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Nights

We know that all of the Star Wars fans out there (including me) are extremely excited to check out “Solo: A Star Wars Story” when it finally comes to  theaters on May 25th. Guests will be able to celebrate the release of this amazing new film at Walt Disney World during the Star Wars: Galactic Nights event, which is set to take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 27th.  The event is a Star Wars themed event that will be held at the park after closing from 7 PM through midnight.  We previously announced details on what guests can expect at the event, but Disney Parks Blog released a breakdown of new details for the event featuring exclusive “Solo: A Star Wars Story”-inspired content.

During the event, Joonas Suatamo will make a special appearance.  He is the actor who plays Chewbacca in “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”  The presentation of Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away will also include different video moments from in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” too. Not only that, the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular projection show will also debut a new action sequence from the movie.  Guests will also be excited to learn that there will be special merchandise from the film that will be exclusive to the event.

Guests are already able to purchase tickets for Star Wars: Galactic Nights now.  Guests who are Walt Disney World Annual Passholders or Disney Vacation Club Members will be able to get a discount on the cost for admission.  Guests are able to purchase the tickets online or by calling 407-W-DISNEY (407 934-7639).  No additional theme park admission will be required, only the event ticket for each guest.
