Celebrate Mickey Mouse’s Birthday November 18th at Walt Disney World

The “Big Cheese” himself, Mr. Mickey Mouse, is celebrating another birthday today, November 18th! He is 89 this year, if you can imagine that!  Disney Parks Blog released details today about the exciting upcoming #HappyBirthdayMickey fun that is planned for Walt Disney World as well as other Disney locations around the world.

First, guests will be able to get special “Happy Birthday, Mickey!” buttons as well as merchandise and cake!  There will also be a special “Happy Birthday” moment during the Move It!  Shake It! Dance & Play It! The special “Happy Birthday” moments will also continue during the Cosmic Dance Party in Tomorrowland, too.  The Dapper Dans will also sing their renditions of “Happy Birthday” to our beloved, Mickey.

There will be birthday photo props available at all four of the theme parks, so you can check out the different birthday additions you can add to all of your photo memories to commemorate the occasion.  If you purchase photos from the parks, you will receive them in a special folder along with a commemorative sticker.

There will be special celebrations taking place at Disneyland Resort in California, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland if you will be visiting any of those areas during that time!

Mickey will even get a grand appearance on Good Morning America on November 15th after he visits destinations like Japan, Chile, Canada and China.  He has an extremely fun birthday in store and Disney Parks Blog is requesting that guests share their favorite Mickey moments using the hashtag #HappyBirthdayMickey.
