Celebrate Mickey Mouse’s 90th Anniversary at Walt Disney World

Mickey Mouse continues to be one of the most iconic figures around the globe. It is hard to believe that he is celebrating is 90th birthday this year on November 18th.  Of course this amazing milestone will warrant celebrations all over the world.  Walt Disney World will celebrate from November 16th through November 18th.  The celebration will include special merchandise, food and beverage items. Magic Kingdom Park will celebrate during the “Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It!” Street Party, sing “Happy Birthday” along with the Dapper Dans on Main Street, U.S.A., and join in a special birthday dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.  The celebration will also continue when the World’s Biggest Mouse Party comes to Walt Disney World in 2019, too!

Of course with a celebration this big, other Disney Parks and areas will be celebrating, so we have the details on those celebrations for you, too!

• Disneyland Resort – California:  Will host a celebration for Mickey Mouse on November 18th with a cavalcade.  World’s Biggest Mouse Party will also come to Disneyland in 2019.
• Disney Cruise Line:  Celebrations during World’s Biggest Mouse Party in 2019.
• Shanghai Disney Resort:  First kickoff spot for World’s Biggest Mouse Party.  Will include a new Mickey float during the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Tourism Festival on September 15th.  There will be a giant birthday card for Mickey.  On November 16th through November 18th, there will be special food and merchandise items and a special singing of “Happy Birthday” to Mickey that evening.
• Hong Kong Disneyland:  Starts World’s Biggest Mouse Party on November 18th.  There will be commemorative park tickets, a hotel room overlay, special projection show (running through February 2019) and special food, beverage and merchandise offerings.
• Tokyo Disney Resort:  Will feature special decorations and merchandise.
• Disneyland Paris:  Will celebrate World’s Biggest Mouse Party this fall and winter.

“Mickey: The True Original Exhibition,” which is an interactive art exhibit, will open in New York from November 8th , 2018 through February 10th, 2019.  This is a pop-up art exhibition that features a variety of great Mickey items.
