Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs

Cinco de Mayo is coming up this weekend on, of course, May 5th!  If you will be in the Walt Disney World area and looking for a great spot to enjoy the festivities, then you definitely want to head over to Disney Springs.  There will be a variety of great offerings to enjoy out in the Florida sun.  We have a look at some of the fun for you below, courtesy of Disney Parks Blog:

Frontera Cocina is a restaurant led by Chef Rick Bayless, who is also the seven time winner of the James Beard Award.  At the location, there are a variety of delicious Mexican offerings, plus the dining location is amazing. There will be perfect offerings available where you can definitely do justice to your Cinco de Mayo celebration.

You have to try the house-made guacamole, which is paired with smoky chipotle and salsa. There are also a variety of other delicious offerings including items like the Red Chili Chicken Enchiladas, Carne Asada Tacos, fresh salads and more.  There is also a limited time “Taste of Mexico City” menu that will offer a selection of amazing flavors.

Of course, we can’t forget about the drinks, too!  There are delicious hand-crafted margaritas, cocktails, and sangria. There will be specials offered this weekend which include the Smokey Pineapple Margarita and the Topolo Margarita on the Rocks. Enjoy your drinks while listening to the live guitarist from 3 to 9 PM on May 4th and 5th.

You can also head over to The Landing area of Disney Springs to check out Paradiso 37 where you can check out a great dining al fresco experience.  There are over 37 varieties of tequila and great food options like South American Crazy Corn, Baja Fish Tacos, Paradiso Surf and Turf and more.  On May 5th there will be a live Mariachi band and drink specials.  You won’t want to miss the Volcan Margarita!

Dockside Margaritas will also be serving up delicious margaritas.  This is a waterfront bar where guests can enjoy margaritas, beers, live entertainment and views of Lake Buena Vista.

If you love sweets, then you will definitely want to head over to Sprinkles.  Starting now and running through May 5th, Sprinkles will be offering delicious themed cupcakes.  The will be the Margarita and Strawberry Margarita Cupcakes, which are both made with blanco tequila infused with key lime buttercream and finished with a fleur de sel rim.
