Guests will find Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, located on the ground floor of the Great Ceremonial House, which is home to the Resort’s main lobby. This restaurant is located close to other fun dining locations like Pineapple Lanai, Barefoot Pool Bar at the Lava Pool, and the hidden Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. If you’re not staying at the Polynesian Village Resort, you can easily visit by taking the Resort Monorail or Boat from the Magic Kingdom or Transportation and Ticket Center.
Quick Service or Table Service?
Capt. Cook’s is a Quick Service dining location. This means that Guests don’t need a dining reservation to stop by and grab a meal. Due to this restaurant’s popularity, the location offers Disney’s Mobile Order feature. This feature allows Guests to order ahead using the My Disney Experience app before arriving at the restaurant. Once your order is ready, you’ll be notified and can proceed to the location to pick it up without waiting in line.
Atmosphere
This Quick Service restaurant offers ample indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating area is air-conditioned and adorned with island-inspired travel posters. The outdoor patio has a beautiful view of the Lava Pool and Seven Seas Lagoon.
Menu Options
Capt. Cook’s is open all day, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, Guests can enjoy the famous Tonga Toast, banana-stuffed sourdough bread, battered, deep-fried, and dusted with cinnamon sugar, served with bacon or sausage. Other breakfast entrees include the Breakfast Burrito, Morning Flatbread, Power Breakfast Bowl, or Mickey Waffles. The lunch and dinner menus feature Thai Coconut Meatballs, Pulled Pork Nachos, Asian-style Noodle Salad, and the plant-based Roasted Red Pepper & Arugula Burger.

Dining Tips
Beginning on January 9, 2024, Capt. Cook’s will accept both Disney Dining Plans. This means that Guests using the Disney Dining Plan or the Quick Service dining Plan during their stay will be able to redeem Quick Service meal and snack credits at this location.
