X (formerly known as Twitter) user @saxontracks posted the footage on February 9, tagging the Central Florida theme park:

What in the name of OSHA is happening here @BuschGardens?

The video was filmed during Cheetah Hunt’s recent refurbishment, before the attraction reopened to theme park guests. The social media user wrote:

This was work prior to reopening too

Video Shows Apparent OSHA Violations

The footage depicts two individuals on the elevated tracks of the 4,400-foot steel roller coaster. Neither person wears safety harnesses or appropriate protective equipment while working at significant heights.

Cheetah Hunt closed in late October 2025 for refurbishment and reopened in early February 2026. The video was recorded near the end of that closure period.

OSHA requires proper fall protection, including harnesses and guardrails, for workers at elevated heights. The video appears to document violations of federal workplace safety standards.

Theme park fans questioned Busch Gardens’ safety practices in replies to the video. X user @kacklingkraken wrote:

Busch Gardens is gonna get someone killed lol. Either guest or worker. Them and Hershey Park seem sketchy af to me when it comes to ride safety and maintenance. I do not trust those parks and will not visit them 😂

Cheetah Hunt bills itself as Tampa Bay’s longest roller coaster, reaching 60 mph with a 130-foot drop designed to mimic cheetah movements. The attraction is currently operational with no publicly reported injuries related to the video.
