The Disney Wine & Dine Race weekend is finally here!  Guests have to visit the runDisney race expo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in order to pick up their race bibs and shop the various expo locations.  Typically guests have to drive or ride a bus from their Disney resort over to ESPN Wide World of Sports in order to visit the expo.  There isn’t usually transportation from ESPN Wide World of Sports to any other locations, but it looks like that is changing.  Now it looks like there will be special bus transportation to Disney Springs, making it easier for guests to visit the area and to catch up with other transportation options from there.

Here is the announcement from the Disney Springs Twitter account (@DisneySprings):  “NEW – Catch a ? directly to #DisneySprings from the @runDisney expo! Departing every 30 mins 11/2-11/3 from 11a-7:30p and 11/4 from 10:30a-4p.”

This will definitely be a great transportation option for the guests in the area this weekend attending the expo.  It is very possible that there could be wait times to board the bus, depending on how many buses are running.

There are various race events all weekend running each day throughout the long weekend in the mornings.  The races are set to complete before the theme parks open so that they can still open as scheduled each day for guests.

Who will be running in one of the Walt Disney World Wine & Dine races this weekend?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
