Wilderness Lodge to Construct DVC Cabins

Several unofficial fan sites are reporting that plans have been submitted for new waterside villas to be constructed at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort.

The villas are similar to the new Bora Bora Bungalows recently opened at Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Village Resort

The plans, which were filed with the South Florida Water Management District, call for 26 one story units to be constructed. These units will be built waterside, not on the water as in the Poly DVC expansion.

The north grouping of 12 cabins will face in the general direction of the Magic Kingdom and should have a view of the late night fireworks display.

New restaurants and recreation buildings are included in the plans as well as expanded pools.

You can see the plans that were filed below. (Disney has not officilly announced or confirmed these additions.)
