Brand New Restaurant Coming To Magic Kingdom!

WDW News Today is reporting that a new Jungle Cruise Themed “Skipper’s Cantina” Restaurant Coming to the Magic Kingdom.

The location will be in The Adventureland Veranda which was originally opened as a restaurant in 1971. Since then, it has been used for many things, mostly character meet and greets and snack and treat stations for the Magic Kingdom’s party events.

The space being currently being used as Tinker Bell’s Magical Nook.

Rumors are that the restaurant will be quick service for lunch and full table service for dinner and that the restaurant may open as early as Q4 2015. Since the location was originally a restaurant, here is hoping they can turn it that quickly.

One would guess that the theming will stay close to the Jungle Cruise attraction.

In our humble opinion, Magic Kingdom really needs some additional eateries.  Especially, for table service.
