Beloved Fantasyland Experience Changing Forever at Disney Parks

Beginning in October 2025, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will welcome a very special visitor: the Fairy Godmother herself. Guests visiting the boutique inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom or near Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park will now have the chance to meet this beloved character in person during their transformation.

For young guests ages three to 12, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has long been a highlight of a Disney vacation. Assisted by Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices, children can choose from a variety of makeover packages that transform them into elegant princesses or brave knights. Princess experiences often include hairstyling, shimmering makeup, nail polish, and accessories, with the option to add gowns inspired by classic favorites such as Cinderella, Ariel, and Elsa. Knight packages, meanwhile, feature styled hair with colorful gel, a shield, and a sword.

Currently, families can choose from a wide range of packages, starting with the Knight Package at around $19.95 and reaching up to the Princess Signature Dress Package priced at $450. Other offerings include the Carriage Package, Castle Package, Deluxe Castle Package, and special themed options such as the Disney Encanto Package. To simplify the selection process, Disney will be streamlining these offerings later this year while still preserving the immersive fairytale feel.

Reservations for the boutique remain in high demand, often filling quickly. Guests are encouraged to book in advance—typically 60 days prior to arrival—with early access available for resort hotel guests.

The boutique locations themselves add to the charm of the experience. At Magic Kingdom, the boutique sits within the iconic Cinderella Castle, while Disneyland guests will find it nestled in the courtyard of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Fantasyland. The storybook setting, combined with whimsical décor and playful storytelling from the apprentices, turns each appointment into more than just a makeover.

Disney PhotoPass photographers are frequently on hand to capture the final reveal, offering families treasured keepsake images of the day. With the addition of the Fairy Godmother this October, children will now be part of a story-driven encounter that blends seamlessly into the enchantment of Disney’s castles.

For many families, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique continues to be a cherished memory-making activity, and these upcoming changes further enhance its role as a truly magical part of the Disney experience.

He's a dreamer and grew up on Mulan saving the world, Jim Hawkins soaring through the stars, and Padmé Amidala fighting a Nexu. At the Parks, he loves to ride Everest, stroll down Main Street with an overstuffed pin lanyard around his neck, and eat as many Mickey-shaped ice creams as possible. His favorite character is Han Solo (yes, he did shoot first), and his… More »
