We previously reported on the exciting shopping experience that guests can have at Pandora – The World of Avatar where they can purchase their own banshee. Guests that head over to The Banshee Rookery within Windtraders (the merchandise shop within Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom) are able to determine the perfect banshee for them to take home with them based on a selection process at the location. Sadly, the banshees are completely out of stock. Disney Cast Members have even reported that it may be as long as 3 weeks until the banshees are back in stock and finding their new homes with Disney guests.
The whole experience makes shopping even more fun at Walt Disney World. Once a banshee has been identified as a fit for the guest, then they are asked to take the Banshee Pledge. The Banshee Pledge is to help provide education and insight into protecting the environment. Then the guest is able to purchase and take their banshee home with them. It definitely sounds like a really cool experience and one that our family can’t wait to try out so we can bring our own banshee home!
