As of May 6, Alice’s Curious Labyrinth is closed for refurbishment at Disneyland Park, with work already visible on the Queen of Hearts Castle building at the heart of the attraction. The Fantasyland walkthrough won’t welcome guests again until July 4, 2026, according to Disneyland Paris Resort’s official website. X (formerly Twitter) user @DLPReport shared these photos of the ongoing construction:

🔧 Alice’s Curious Labyrinth is now closed for refurbishment until July 3, with work already started on the Queen of Hearts Castle. It’s the summer of Castle refurbishments 😬

Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t shared specifics about the refurbishment, and guests shouldn’t expect any dramatic transformation when the attraction eventually reopens.

The timing makes this closure sting a little more. Earlier this week, construction walls went up around the Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge at Disneyland Park — a refurbishment project that @DLPReport also documented on X:

🔧 The Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge refurbishment includes walls on the front and inside the Castle, with the walkthrough remaining open. Water levels are lower in the moat, and the inflatable projection screen is permanently installed in the doorway.

That project carries a significantly longer timeline. Disneyland Paris Resort has confirmed that the Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge work is expected to continue through late September 2026. Unlike Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, the castle walkthrough and La Tanière du Dragon — “The Lair of the Dragon” — are both staying open throughout the refurbishment, though guests will need to navigate alternate routes to get there.

Two Castles, One Very Busy Summer

With Alice’s Curious Labyrinth dark through early July and Sleeping Beauty Castle wrapped in construction walls through the fall, Disneyland Paris Resort guests are navigating a Fantasyland that looks quite a bit different than usual this season. Neither closure comes with much explanation beyond routine refurbishment, leaving European Disney Park guests to simply wait it out.
